THE FIRM

Cantina Reale was founded on the passion for wine from Boselli’s family.

Luciano Boselli first whit his wife Rosa, then Gianni and Graziella, in the 80s have worked with enthusiasm and energy. In 1997, Gianni and Graziella’s son, Massimo, decided to join the family business, putting passion and effort in it; since 2013, Massimo has been the chairman of the Company, helped by his wife, Morena. Today, Cantina Reale work hard to produce high quality wines, using modern techniques and thanks to the renewal of the vineyards.

THE WINERY

The winery was completely refurbished in 2015. Modern thermo-conditioned electronically controlled stainless steel tanks are used, to control the must and the fermentation of the wines. Also oak barrels are used for the most prestigious red wines. Inside the winery, there are the areas where sparkling wines are produced, bottling machines, the shop and a comfy tasting room.

THE VINEYARDS

The firm stands on 18 hectares of vineyards, and it lies on Mantuan Morenic Hills.

The varieties of grapes are carefully selected, to express at maximum levels the terroir, keeping a low yield per hectare, with a hard work in the vineyards.

Modern agronomic techniques allow to reduce the usage of pesticides. A constant control of the weather forecast helps to decide when take action in the vineyards; thanks to inter-row processing, herbicides are not used. Only natural organic products are used for fertilazion.

The mixure of breezes from Garda lake and peculiar terroir rich of minerals, gives grapes that will become wines with intense bouquet, rich of floreal notes and elegant aroma.

THE HARVEST AND VINIFICATION

The harvest is both manual and mechanic, and it combines the traditional methods with modern techniques.

Expertise in vinification and a respectful treatment of the grapes, allow the firm to reach the best result that mother nature can offer.
